Woodlea Workshop Extension

The Woodlea Workshop Extension involved the construction of a new steel portal frame addition to the existing workshop facility at Bacchus Marsh Grammar, Woodlea Campus. The extension was delivered to accommodate the relocation of school maintenance operations, enabling the existing workshop space to be repurposed into specialised classroom environments. Works included structural integration, new slab construction, recladding of selected areas of the existing building, and comprehensive services upgrades, all undertaken within a live operational campus environment.

Scope of Works

  • Construction of a new steel portal frame extension integrated with the existing workshop building.

  • Installation of a new concrete slab and associated groundwork preparation.

  • Structural tie-in works to seamlessly connect the new extension with the existing facility.

  • Recladding of selected portions of the existing building to enhance durability and visual consistency.

  • Upgrade and extension of electrical, data, security and mechanical services.
